The CMHA is excited to distribute the collection of kitchen appliances, toys, & clothing they collected as part of 'Clean Out Your Closet'
WOODSTOCK - The Canadian Mental Health Association of Oxford County is inviting the public to the Harvey Woods Lofts on Thursday.
They will be handing out the items they received from the County during the Cleaning Out Your Closet campaign. Community Engagement and Volunteer Development Coordinator for CMHA Oxford Kathlene Campbell-Conlon says you will want to arrive early and they have a lot of great items they will be giving away for free.
"An amazing outpouring of donations from the community here in Oxford County. Some of the items that were donated were in amazing pristine condition, we have some kitchen appliances that are brand new or still in a box that have the instructions with them."
Campbell-Conlon says they also have clothes for the entire family and even strollers and lots of stuff for kids. The event starts at 9 a.m. in Woodstock and will run until the afternoon or until all of the items are spoken for and Campbell-Conlon says everyone is invited to check it out.
"Everyone and anyone is invited, we have no barriers, there is no specific demographic that we are targeting; we are targeting anyone in Oxford County that wants to come and see what's there for them."
