OXFORD COUNTY - The long range weather forecast for Oxford County is not looking to good right now.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson tells Heart FM he thinks the days of high temperatures and sunshine could be gone for awhile.
"We had an incredible run of weather for the first half of November, lots of sunshine. Traditionally November is fairly cloudy month so this certainly been something we don't see all that often with the amount of sun we've had, temperatures well into the teens on a number of days; well above normal for this time of year. That whole pattern does look like it's coming to an end with the passage of this storm system on the weekend. Looking at the work week next week we're back to daytime highs of more around where we should be for this time of year, anywhere between 3 and 6 degrees for the coming week and then normal highs for this time of year should be about 5 degrees."
Coulson says the temperatures are expected to remain average or below average in Oxford County for at least the next couple of weeks.
