A 29-year-old from Woodstock is facing a list of charges after Woodstock Police seized $26,000 worth of drugs from a home on William Street.
WOODSTOCK - What started out as a suspected weapons call ended with about $26,000 worth of drugs seized.
The Woodstock Police Service launched a suspected weapons investigation on January 28th. Officers wound up searching a home on William Street on January 29th and January 31st where they found fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine.
A 29-year-old Woodstock man was arrested last Monday. He has been charged with possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and morphine, along with possession of fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He was also charged with failure to comply with a release order.
Waterloo Regional Police Service Emergency Response Unit and the Stratford Police Service Containment Team and Canine Unit assisted in the investigation.
