Improvements may soon be on the way for Punkeydoodles Corner, with council approving new recommended changes.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County Council discussed improvements for Punkeydoodles Corner.
At their meeting this past Wednesday, there was a report presented, and Council approved the recommended changes.
Warden, Marcus Ryan has more.
"There was extensive work done by county staff to try and look at other ways to simplify and, ultimately, make that intersection safer."
He then goes on to say more on the topic.
"The point was that each of the municipalities that's involved in the intersection, because again it's Oxford-Wilmot township in Waterloo County and Perth County, all have sort of a shared jurisdiction and therefore shared costs."
The recommendations will be looked at by Perth County Council on December 7th, then the Township of Wilmot Council on December 11th.
All the information involved in this report can be found by going online.
