$200 000 worth of renovations coming to the Springford Community Hall.
SPRINGFORD - Springford will notice some changes to their Community Hall.
A major renovation project is underway for the building.
Director of Community Services, Patrick Hovorka says some changes have already been made.
"We've already made some changes. We put a new parking lot in with some new curbs and of course some new cement sidewalks that are all accessible."
but Hovorka says a lot more is on the horizon.
"Part of the job, or the scope of the job will include some automatic sliding doors, a new barrier-free washroom, which is much needed, wider doorways and just giving it more of a cosmetic uplift."
A Canada 150 grant is helping pay for the roughly $200 000 project.
