The affected brands include Habibi, Al Mokhtar Food Centre and Dubai.
CANADA - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a for certain brands of pistachios and products that contain pistachios.
Strains of salmonella found in Habibi brand pistachios have made people sick. Al Mokhtar Food Centre and Dubai have also been affected by this outbreak.
The CFIA says 52 cases have been reported between early March and mid-July. When you look at the breakdown; 39 cases are in Quebec, nine are in Ontario, three are in British Columbia, and only one case has been reported in Manitoba.
Nine people have been hospitalized.
