Police are looking to speak with the driver of a dark grey Dodge Grand Caravan after a large amount of cash was stolen from a home in South-West Oxford Township.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD TOWNSHIP - Oxford OPP are investigating a break and enter on Plank Line in South West Oxford Township.
Police say a large amount of cash was taken from the home sometime between November 3rd and the 6th. A suspicious looking vehicle was spotted in the area. It is described as a dark grey Dodge Grand Caravan. The woman driving the minivan is described as being in her late 20's or early 30's with dirty blonde hair in a ponytail. The end of the ponytail was lighter in colour than the rest of her hair. An investigation is ongoing.
The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious people or vehicles that may be sitting in neighbour’s driveways when they are not home or vehicles that are travelling aimlessly up and down roads. The public should try to get descriptions, licence plate numbers and direction of travel and report this immediately to their local police service. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for these incidents should immediately contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
