Starting today, fully vaccinated travelers will no longer have to provide a negative COVID test if they want to cross the border into Canada.
CANADA - It's now a lot easier for fully vaccinated travelers to cross the border into Canada.
Starting today, those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will no longer have to worry about providing a negative PCR test if they want to enter Canada. They will still have to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination through the ArriveCan website or app at least 72 hours before trying to cross the border.
The testing and quarantine rules will still apply to those who are not fully vaccinated. This means they will still have to provide a negative molecular test upon arrival and once again on the eighth day after arriving in Canada. They will also have to quarantine for 14 days after crossing the border.
The Trudeau Government made the official announcement on March 17th and travel agents have seen an increased demand for flights since then.
