Volunteers for the Terry Fox Run are about to have their first meeting as they continue to plan for the event.
WOODSTOCK - The first volunteer meeting for the Terry Fox Run is around the corner.
Volunteers will meet at South Gate Centre at 7pm on Monday, June 11th.
John Versavel talks about how important the volunteers are.
"The volunteers for the run are critical. We're such lucky we have a good number of them, but we always need more."
He continued, explaining the plans for the meeting.
"For the meeting what we will be doing is laying out what the campaign will look like for this year. The events we got planned, bringing everyone up to date on where we are so far. A lot of the logistics has been taken care of already and so they're know. Like the course has been set."
Anyone interested in volunteering is welcome to attend.
