A Woodstock man is doing his part to address the doctor shortage in the area.
WOODSTOCK - A local man is hoping to bring more medical professionals into the Friendly City.
Fadel Zabian is looking to turn the plaza on the corner of Mill Street and Main Street into a medical hotspot.
"I have a pharmacy coming in, I have another doctor coming in and we're in talks with two pediatricians to come in to Woodstock who are desperately needed right now."
Zabian says doctors will be able to set up their practice for a lower price.
"If any doctors who come that want a clinic we're giving them a discount as an incentive."
Zabian set out on his quest for medical professionals after his five year old nephew couldn't get in to see a local doctor six months ago.
