OPP responded to 6 collisions this weekend in Perth County and charged 10 people with having expired plates.
Perth County OPP were out in full force over the weekend handing out several charges to motorists.
One man was hit with a stunt driving driving charge after getting clocked doing a 137 km/hr in a posted 80 zone on Hwy 7/8. Officers also brought out the Automated Licence Plate Recognition cruiser this weekend and charged 10 people for driving with expired plates, two drivers who were suspended from driving and one driver was stopped for being unlicensed.
Police were also busy dealing with collisions in the County. 6 motor vehicle collisions happened in Perth over the weekend. Luckily no serious injuries were reported. Police say all of the collisions could have been prevented and most were due to drivers not adjusting their speeds to icy road conditions.
