Woodstock police arrested 8 people and handed out a number of tickets during the Long Weekend.
Woodstock - It was a busy long weekend for Woodstock Police who arrested 8 people and handed out 21 traffic tickets.
On Saturday a teen was arrested for shoplifting and breach of probation while a 40 year old woman was picked up for public intoxication on Dover Street. Also on Saturday a couple of people were arrested for breach of probation and a 33 year old man was charged with 4 counts of theft under $5,000.
Sunday was another busy day for police as they charged another man with public intoxication after finding him passed out in a downtown washroom. A 38 year old man was arrested for breaching the peace and another man was picked up for breaching probation.
Police did charge a 45 year old man with driving a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration above zero and then a 24 year old man who had an arrest warrant out was picked up on Monday night.
