Local support key to Bright Cheese and Butters success.
BRIGHT - Bright Cheese and Butters is celebrating 140 years this weekend.
Quality Control Manager Leanne Kunkel says the key to their continued success is simple."The local support definitely has helped us. By coming to our store and shopping, by supporting us that way."
Kunkel says they are still in their original 1874 location on County Road 22.
"It hasn't changed a whole lot. Like I said, we make things the same way, everything is hands on, customer service is still a priority."
Kunkel says their cheese curds are among their best sellers.
"Our flavoured cheeses, our hot pepper, dill and garlic, and onion and parsley they are always good sellers and then definitely our cheddars is one of our top sellers too."
Kunkel says all of their cheese is made with 100 percent local, Canadian milk which helps set it apart from other cheese manufacturers.
