Work on rehabilitating a bridge begins in Norwich today. The bridge on Oxford Road 13 near Springford is set to begin, leading to lane reductions over the next 3-months. Next week, repairs to the Oxford Road 18 (Main St.) bridge, right in the Village of Norwich will start next week, and will see traffic delays for the next few months. Public Works Director Rob Walton says, "The majority of this work will be done with just lane closures and traffic signals to let traffic know who has the right of way. The one on Road 13, we do have to close for a couple of days to allow for abuttment work. That hasn't been scheduled just yet, but we'll let the public know when that's going to happen." Anyone looking for more information can visit a Public Meeting tonight from 7-9PM at the Norwich Community Centre. Details are also posted here.
