Woodstock's first Brewpub will open their doors this evening with a soft launch and plenty of local craft beers.
WOODSTOCK - The Upper Thames Brewery is opening a new pub in town.
The Brickhouse Brewery is an expansion of the local brewery and will officially welcome customers this evening with a soft launch.
Co-owner Carl Bloomfield says the new location will feature over 20 taps.
"The new location is going to have, we're going to be brewing on location there as well, and it's going to have 24 taps, 12 of which are our own and we're going to be able to bring some other independent craft brewers that we're really excited to let the community try."
Co-owner Moe Morris says while it is a new restaurant, there will be some differences between the two locations.
"There's going to be a more expanded menu, so at our original flagship location they're still going to be taking food. So there's going to be an expanded menu, which a lot of the recipes are going to feature our beers in them, in the sauces. So we're pretty excited about that."
Brick House Brewery will open its doors tonight, located on 190 Fairway Road, before hosting a grand opening in January. The brew pub will feature a light menu in December and they will have the official grand opening in January, complete with a full menu.
