Giving blood is always needed. Today, you will not only help save lives but fulfill the wish of Kelly Byers.
WOODSTOCK - Goff Hall is the sight for a blood donor clinic.
Until 8 p.m. today (Thursday, April 25th) the Realtors Care Committee is hosting the Blood for Byers event. Chair of the Committee, Tammy Betzner is pleased to be a part of the day and knows it means so much to Kelly Byers.
"It is near and dear to our heart, because one of our Committee members, Kelly Byers has a rare leukemia, and what she is asking for of all of her people is to donate blood."
Betzner says the initial show of support for the event was great.
"We advertised a blood drive with our Real Estate agents, and within two full days, it was already completely full all the spots were gone. So, they extended times and added an extra 40 slots, and they have been filled as well."
You can go to the blood donor clinic website as there could still be a spot left for yourself to go help support a great cause and save lives by giving blood.
