Stratford Police had 4 calls for service about bicycle thefts in the Festival City over the weekend.
STRATFORD - It was busy weekend for the Stratford police who responded to 190 calls for service.
Most of the calls were minor in nature. Police did get 4 calls about stolen bicycles in the City. They also had a number of calls where sheds were broken into. Investigations into the thefts are ongoing.
"The Stratford Police Service is reminding everyone that with the warmer weather upon us now please remember to lock your bicycles even when they are left unattended on your own property. Also citizens are reminded to ensure that their garden sheds and garage doors are also looked to prevent any thefts. By taking these simple precautions, you will take the opportunity away from the criminals."
