Local businesses can now sign up for the Mirror Mirror and Turn the Town Teal campaigns.
OXFORD COUNTY - It's the first day of August, but Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County is already getting ready for the fall.
September is Big Brothers Big Sisters Month, and the local organization will have two campaigns to shine a light on what they do.
Manager of Communications Liz Wismer-Van Meer says one of them is the Mirror Mirror campaign, where local businesses can sign up to get two mirror decals that they can put on display.
"One says this is what a mentor looks like with arrows pointing down to the image of the person looking in the mirror. The other decal on the bottom says you're the one we've been waiting for with a QR code and some information."
The Turn the Town Teal campaign is also making a comeback this year, but Wismer-Van Meer says you have to register before August 9th.
"We provide a decorating kit of teal-coloured decor that we drop off to you before September 1st. You'll also receive some posters and other information about youth mentorship within Oxford County."
August 9th is also the deadline to register for the Mirror Mirror campaign.
You can find the registration form online here, where you will have the option to sign up for Turn the Town Teal, Mirror Mirror, or both. There is no cost associated with either of these campaigns.
