Police are searching for two men after an armed robbery at the RBC in Embro.
EMBRO - Oxford OPP are searching for two men after an armed robbery at the Royal Bank of Canada in Embro.
Both suspects were carrying handguns when they robbed the bank on Thursday afternoon. The men were able to escape with an undetermined amount of cash. They fled the area in an unknown direction. The two employees inside the bank and two customers were not injured in the robbery.
OPP brought in the Canine unit to help search for the men who are still on the loose.

- Described as Average Height
- Slim Build
- Wearing a red Adidas jacket, white hooded sweatshirt, black pants, orange gloves and a black balaclava covering his face.
Suspect #2
- Male
- Described as Average Height
- Medium Build
- Wearing a black and grey striped sweater, orange shirt, patterned grey pants, blue latex gloves and a balaclava covering his face.
Members of the Oxford County OPP Crime Unit are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information or can identify the suspects they are being asked to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
UPDATE (March 31st 2018 - 6:45am) : It's believed the suspects hopped into a car on St. Andrew Street, west of Argyle Street at around 3pm. The vehicle is described as a newer black Mercedes with four doors, a large emblem, tinted windows and chrome below the window frame.
