Woodstock Police investigate daytime break and enter - local man faces impaired and drug charges.
WOODSTOCK -- Woodstock Police are investigating a break and enter that occurred over the weekend.
During daylight hours on Friday, the unlocked home was entered and jewellery was taken from the residence.
Police say they are continuing to canvass the neighbourhood as part of their investigation and are also reminding homeowners to secure their property when leaving to avoid becoming an easy target.
And a Woodstock man is facing impaired and drug charges after concerned citizens alerted police.
WPS received a call around 1:45 am Saturday morning of a possible drunk driver on Dundas near Springbank.
The driver allegedly pulled into a parking lot, drove over a sidewalk and onto a grass median.
