The Baby Alex Improv Night is back with plenty of laughs and a delicious meal supporting a great cause.
WOODSTOCK - A special Improv night in the Friendly City will support the Baby Alex Teddy Bear Drive.
Tickets are still available for the catered event happening on Saturday night at the Kingdom Things Theatre, formerly known as the Enchanted Theatre. One of the organizers Liz Wismer-Van Meer says it promises to be a fun night.
"They have different games that they come up with and I don't want to give too much away because I think if you know too much ahead of time, then you are going to know what's going to happen but they provide magnificent Improv, they will have us laughing that's for sure."
Teams of four have signed up to take part in the Improv night and they will take on the professionals from the Kingdom Things Theatre. This is the 8th year of the Baby Alex Teddy Bear Drive. It began a year after Mary Rodrigues lost her four month old son Alexander Gideon Fleming to an impaired driver. Each year the teddy bears collected are donated to the Children's Health Foundation and the Woodstock Hospital Foundation.
The night is catered by Jed Lau and tickets cost $25 and you can purchase them by calling the Kingdom Things Theatre at 519-602-2883 or online here. Those who attend are also welcome to bring a stuffed animal to donate to the Baby Alex Teddy Bear Drive.
The fundraiser will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and is expected to end at 10:30 p.m.
