Oxford County welcomed tourism officials from Nova Scotia, PEI, and Newfoundland & Labrador.
OXFORD COUNTY - Tourism officials from the East Coast got a first-hand look at the best experiences Oxford County has to offer.
Representatives from Tourism Newfoundland & Labrador, Hospitality Newfoundland & Labrador, Tourism PEI, Taste of Nova Scotia, and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency got to spend two days in Oxford recently. The delegation also included a handful of tourism operations that would like to grow culinary and agritourism in their home provinces.
The group got a special tour that was led by Meredith Maywood from Tourism Oxford and Joanne Wolnik from Ontario's Southwest. Some of the stops included Udderly Ridiculous Farm Life, Ottercreek Woodworks, and SixThirtyNine.
They also stayed at the Elm Hurst Inn & Spa in Ingersoll.
The trip was organized by the Culinary Tourism Alliance.
