Prosecutors say the 22-year-old planned his attack against the Afzaal family in London for three months.
WINDSOR - The 22-year-old charged in the deaths of a Muslim family in London planned his act of terrorism for three months.
That's according to the prosecutors who began their arguments in a Windsor courtroom yesterday.
The man was charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder back in June 2021, after he struck the Afzaal family with his truck while they were out for an evening walk.
The prosecutors say he told police after his arrest that his actions were politically motivated and he meant to kill the family.
He has pled not guilty to the charges in court.
