Oxford County currently has 11 active cases of COVID-19 after another patient recovered in Blandford-Blenheim.
OXFORD COUNTY - No new cases of COVID-19 in the region today according to Southwestern Public Health.
In fact another patient has recovered from Blandford-Blenheim, meaning we only have 11 active cases now in Oxford County, while St. Thomas and Elgin still has 7 active cases. You can get a break down of the cases by Township in Oxford County below:
- 4 cases in Tillsonburg
- 3 cases in Woodstock
- 1 cases in Blandford-Blenheim
- 1 cases in Zorra Township
- 1 case in Norwich Township
- 1 case in South West Oxford Township
To date, the Health Unit has tested 2,765 people for COVID-19. We have 60 cumulative confirmed cases, 38 cases have been resolved, 4 people have died from the virus and we currently have 18 active cases. We have also had two institutional outbreaks since the pandemic was declared, both in Elgin County. One of them has been resolved and the second one was declared after a staff member at a long term care home tested positive.
