The Oxford County Animal Rescue is looking for people to foster or adopt as they are bursting at the seams.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford County Animal Rescue is relaying a message.
Rescue Director, Anna Holmes says it is not slowing down, and people that have been feeding strays are getting nervous as the colder weather approaches.
"We have so many in need. I think this week, I will be posting 15 new cats and kittens that are ready for adoption."
She adds the Rescue focuses on those who are sick, injured or pregnant. Homles talks about donations that are needed as well and it includes canned/wet kitten food and Iams or Purina Kitten Kibble. She mentions the Christmas auction is also around the corner and if you have anything that you are looking to get rid of, she will take it and make it into a gift for the auction.
"It will start on the 21st of November and go all the way until the 14th of December. We have a dedicated Facebook page for the auction listings."
Holmes says you should keep an eye on the Rescue's Facebook page as the link for the auction will be posted there. She adds the money raised from the auction will go directly back to the animals that are in the care of the Rescue.
