Rembrandt Developments site plan on part of the old Woodstock Hospital grounds has been given the all clear by City Council
WOODSTOCK – Woodstock City councillors gave Rembrandt Developments the land-use amendment it needs to proceed with an upscale 11-unit condominium complex.
Mayor Pat Sobeski says it will be built on what he calls the "pretty parcel," of the old Woodstock General Hospital grounds on Riddell Street.
"The small parcel, which was the parking lot kind of up on the hill, Sobeski said, "that was perceived as being the prestige part of the parcel. The other main parcel will certainly be a greater density, I would imagine," he said.
The units will be one or two storeys tall.
The approval was granted at a council meeting on Thursday.
