Teams will venture through Woodstock and partake in riddles, clues and challenges in support of Ingamo Homes.
WOODSTOCK - Ingamo Homes will be hosting one-of-a-kind fundraiser.
On Saturday October 5th, there will be an event taking place in Woodstock to help raise money for the organization. Fundraising and Communications Coordinator, Sophie Foster says she wanted to come up with a fun way to celebrate their 35th anniversary.
"I kind of wanted to have a fun celebration. So, we are doing an Amazing Race challenge. So, there is no running, it will actually be more of a driving, scavenger hunt event."
Foster goes on to say how teams will be made up, and what the day will look like.
"Teams will be about four to 6, whatever fits in a car. During it you will drive around Woodstock and get a package at the beginning of the day."
Foster adds the package will include riddles, clues, and challenges to figure out along the way. Stops along the way might include partners of Ingamo Homes, which will let you learn about the organization, and who they work with.
Foster says Boston Pizza in Woodstock is the central hub for the event, and it will start there at 9:00 a.m. for checking in. The event itself will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., with an afterparty until 2:30 p.m. at Boston Pizza.
You can register for the event online here.
Sophie Foster stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Tuesday September 10th. You can listen to the full interview below:
