Acupuncture, herbal remedies or other forms of traditional Chinese medicine are now under Ontario regulations starting today. The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario will check to make sure practitioners are properly registered. Practitioners have to pass series of tests or show that they have equivalent experience by having seen at least 2,000 patients in the last five years. The college will also handle complaints from the public.
