Girls in Oxford County are invited to take part in the All Dressed Up event happening this week.
INGERSOLL - The Woodstock Police and Oxford OPP have an amazing selection for their All Dressed up program this year.
OPP Constable Michelle Murphy says they have over 750 dresses for the girls to choose from this year.
"These are brand new or gently used and when I say gently used, some of these dresses have only been worn for a couple of hours at a formal event. We have up to date styles and it really is a phenomenal selection for the girls to choose from. So the girls can come, pick out a dress and it goes home with them."
All Dressed up provides formal clothing for girls going to prom or grade 8 graduation.
They will be handing out the formal wear on Thursday March 21st from 4-8:30 p.m. at the Ingersoll Senior Centre and Murphy explains how you can register.
"They can register by emailing alldressedupoxford@gmail.com and we just need the girls name, address and phone number and we can email them back with a time that is good for them to come and look for a dress that day. It is important that they do register with us for that day, so we know the numbers that are coming."
Murphy adds they can also help with same hair and makeup tips and they have seamstresses from Fanshawe College coming on Thursday to help make sure everyone can find the perfect dress with the perfect fit.
