Zorra Township wants to hear the publics concern for growing gravel and sand pits in the area.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - The Township of Zorra and Oxford County want to hear your opinions on local sand and gravel pits. They have set up two online surveys through the Aggregate Policy Review Study. CAO at the Township of Zorra Don Macleod tells Heart FM several people who live close to the quarries and gravel pits have expressed concerns about dust, noise and truck traffic. He adds this is one portion of the Aggregate Police Review.
The planning department will take the information to help them evacuate and develop policies and procedures for any new quarries or pits in the County. The surveys will be open until June 21st at www.zorra.on.ca and Speak Up, Oxford.
