UPDATE: The Middlesex OPP cleared the scene at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and they thanked the Thames Valley District School Board for their assistance.
The Waterloo Regional Police Service will continue with the investigation from here on out.

DORCHESTER - Middlesex OPP are assisting Waterloo Regional Police with an active investigation in Dorchester.
Lord Dorchester Secondary School and elementary schools in the area are currently on Hold & Secure by Thames Valley District School Board for precautionary reasons with multiple officers in the area.
OPP want to remind all members of the public to be aware of personal safety at all times.
