It hasn't taken long for the abandoned house at Lansdowne and Devonshire to come down. The owner of the property, has hired Malcom Excavating, to knock down the house that has been the scene of two suspicious fires this summer. The city ordered the owner to have the house demolished. Malcom was on scene Tuesday, removing the pool. This morning, they had the majority of the house knocked down and they should be finished clearing it by the end of the day. There's no word on any future plans for the property that sits at a major intersection, but has been a major eyesore over the last couple of years after a failed attempt to place a Rexall Pharmacy at the corner.
