Environment Canada warns of significant rainfall throughout the day for Oxford and the surrounding areas.

Expect far more than just a little April shower today.

Environment Canada is warning of significant rainfall thanks to a large Texas low tracking toward the Great Lakes. Rain will push into our area later today, making for a wet, dreary start to the week.

Some areas could see between 20 - 30 mm of rain before the system moves on to Quebec by tomorrow.

This special weather statement is in effect for Oxford, Brant, Norfolk, Elgin, Middlesex, and Perth
