THAMESFORD - It was another successful Smile Cookie campaign in Thamesford.
The local Tim Hortons sold over 18,000 cookies last month, raising a total of $18,182 for Andrew's Legacy. The official cheque presentation took place yesterday.
Andrew's Legacy is a local charity that raises money to install AEDs in public places. It's in memory of 15-year-old Andrew Stoddart, who passed away of a sudden cardiac arrest while playing soccer in Kintore back in 2015. Andrew's Legacy has helped install 70 AEDs since then.
