The 401 will be closed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. over the next couple nights as crews work on the Hwy 19 bridge.
INGERSOLL - Late evening and early morning commuters are going to be dealing with some extra headaches over the next couple of days on the 401 near Ingersoll.
The MTO is going to close down both directions of the 401 at Highway 19 in Ingersoll starting tonight (June 21st) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
It will also be closed tomorrow night (June 22nd) during the same time frame. This closure is for ongoing construction of the Highway 19 bridge. Construction crews will be assembling girders and sections of the bridge deck during the 8 hour shifts.
Detours will be set up by the OPP at the Highway 19 interchange ramps and Highway 19 will closed from Clarke Road to Curry Road according to the MTO during the stoppage.
