The Woodstock Sobey's location donated funds to Operation Sharing's Inn Out of the Cold Program
Operation Sharing's Inn Out of the Cold Program is getting a boost from Woodstock's Sobey's location.
Inn Out of the Cold Coordinator Eric Schmiedl says the $2500 donation will go along way to helping the community's most vulnerable.
"This donation will be used for taxable items for the Food for Friends Program as well as general food items for the Inn Out of the Cold Program, both with Operation Sharing."
Sobey's Store Manager Sheila Wammes won the money through a corporate contest.
"It was a sales contest so out of 90 stores we won the prize for that and it was to donate to the community."
