The Oxford County Library is asking for you help to create a list of 150 things to do at the library in honour of Canada's Bicentennial.
The Oxford County Library is celebrating Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation with a contest for their patrons.
Everyone is invited to join in helping the OCL create a list of 150 things to do at the library. Everyone who participates will be entered into a monthly draw feature prizes from local businesses like Gunn’s Hill Cheese, Ottercreek Woodworks, Patina’s, Oxford Honey and Supplies, Wild Comfort and Jakeman’s Maple Store.
Systems Support Librarian Sarah Macdonald tells Heart FM you can sign up through social media.
"Celebrating it through Social Media, so if they share their photo using their social media account and hashtag it with #CAN150atOCL they will get an additional entry into the monthly draw."
You can also submit your entries online here or by simply visiting a library in person. Lisa Miettinen, CEO Chief Librarian, Oxford County says they are hoping this contest will open some eyes about the many things you can do at your local library.
"We're celebrating 2017 as a year of discovery and sharing. This contest encourages library users to share their favourite library moments to help others discover new and interesting ways to interact with the library. In fact, many people may be surprised to learn about all the different things you can do at the Oxford County Library."
