Mom and Dad and Fish and Chippers are All Hearty Fish and Chippers

360 Dundas St. is one of Woodstock's gems. Join us for an onsite meeting of the OxHS at Mel's Fish and Chips. You will hear the history of the various businesses that occupied the building before it became a fish and chip restaurant in the early 1930s. We will look at the various original features meticulously kept intact by the 5 owners: original cookers imported from England, tin ceiling, signage, and the very notable murals added in 1952 by artist Eric Dwyer. There are a limited number of seats available by reservation for those who wish to come early for dinner off the menu. If you don't want dinner, you can join us at 6:45 for just the presentation.
